COMVOICE, a Phoenix-based business telecommunications pioneer, has announced its release of the first desk phone powered by Google‘s Android operating system.

The Android phone will be available at an expected starting price point of $599. The phone appeals to executives looking for office technology solutions that compliment the mobile market. One of the phone’s many benefits is that it allows integrated communications to tie into user data stored within the COMVOICE Cloud.

“With all this cutting-edge personal technology everywhere, we were wondering why people weren’t demanding equal capability from their desk phones,” said Erik Knight, president of COMVOICE. The business unit works very much like a personal smartphone, featuring a touch screen and compatibility with any application Android platforms can run. The phone also allows customers to make their calls in high definition, rather than traditional analog.

COMVOICE is confident that the success of the phone will further reinforce its reputation in the industry. “COMVOICE’s top priority is helping customers get up and running and keeping their services going,” said John Noble, pre-sales engineer level II. “Those who purchase the Android phone will now enjoy an even richer experience.”
