Orange France trials video search site

French operator aims to attract content companies and advertisers to its TV, video and mobile portals.

Building on its belief that content and Internet access businesses will become increasingly interdependent, France Telecom's Orange is continuing to look for ways to bolster its content offerings, including a new video search project. The telco is trialling a French language news site that operates through partnerships with various TV and radio stations and the print media. The site presents the top seven or eight stories at any given time, based on the amount of news coverage they have received from all the site's partners…
