Samsung aims to block iPhone 4S sales

Patent war escalates as Korean electronics giant preps lawsuit filings in France, Italy; other countries to follow.

Less than 24 hours after Apple presented its iPhone 4S to the world, Samsung has revealed plans to file lawsuits in a bid to block the sale of the device on grounds of alleged patent infringement. The Korean electronics giant, which is engaged in an increasingly bitter intellectual property war with Apple over a number of products, confirmed in a blog post that it sought preliminary injunctions on Tuesday in courts in Milan and Paris…
