Chinese vendor attempts to tackle UK government concerns over BT's use of its equipment.
Huawei this week insisted its products pose no threat to the U.K.'s national security, after the U.K. government criticised the decision to approve BT's use of the Chinese vendor's equipment without first consulting ministers.
In particular, Huawei drew attention to its establishment, in cooperation with telcos including BT, of a cyber-security evaluation centre in 2010.
