Artificial Intelligence – endless possibilities for the telecoms operator?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) brings with it the opportunity to uncover deep insights and to revolutionise decision making and business operations. AI also has the potential to create vast black holes for business strategy, investment and analysis. Anything that increases awareness of the issues and questions surrounding AI is therefore to be welcomed. This article summarises a discussion at the 2017 Total Telecom Congress, where I chaired a table discussion on the impact of AI on telecoms operators. Main points 1.
