The GSMA and the path to 5G Advanced

Total Telecom caught up with GSMA’s Head of Networks, Henry Calvert, at MWC 2022 to discuss what we can expect from the upcoming 5G Advanced specifications and what impact this emerging technology will have on the telecoms sector

Since its first commercial launch in 2019, 5G has evolved rapidly – far faster, in fact, than its technological predecessors, 3G and 4G.
