Epsilon Telecommunications (Epsilon), a global connectivity provider, is providing customers with seamless access to the AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region in Indonesia – the second AWS Region in Southeast Asia outside of Singapore. Epsilon’s Cloud Connect solution, delivered on its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform Infiny, enables customers to buy and manage dedicated network connections to the new AWS Region.

As an AWS Direct Connect Delivery Partner, Epsilon provides secure, flexible and scalable connectivity to AWS via its global private network. AWS Direct Connect Delivery Partners have passed additional validation from the AWS Service Delivery Program for enabling customers to access AWS Direct Connect. For advanced users, Epsilon offers a Cloud Networking solution for managing multi-cloud environment with automation, network security as well as operational visibility and control.

“Indonesia is home to over 200 million internet users and some of the largest startups in Southeast Asia. With the launch of the new AWS Region in Indonesia, our customers and partners can now expand their cloud service footprint into one of the fastest growing markets in the world,” said Warren Aw, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Epsilon. “This addition strengthens our existing network of cloud connection services for AWS already available in numerous locations across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States. We look forward to enabling cloud connectivity for our customers and partners to AWS in Indonesia and around the world.”

In 2019, Epsilon achieved the AWS Service Delivery designation for AWS Direct Connect. The AWS Service Delivery Program is designed to validate AWS Partners that have a deep understanding of AWS services, demonstrated experience, and proven customer success in delivering these services to customers. Epsilon’s Infiny enables customers to easily connect to AWS with a single service and relationship, providing a streamlined customer experience.

Indonesia is a strategic market for Epsilon with customers such as Tokopedia, an Indonesian technology company specialising in e-commerce. Epsilon’s managed Cloud Routing service connects Tokopedia’s production environments in AWS with other clouds using multiple high-speed Cloud Connect. The solutions serve the technology unicorn’s cloud to cloud needs via Epsilon’s private network.

Ryan de Melo, VP of Engineering at Tokopedia said “Through Cloud Connect, Epsilon helps us to directly access the cloud service providers of our choice with high-bandwidth connectivity that matches our needs. Thus, we can focus on improving our offering without having to worry about the network infrastructure. We hope that this ongoing partnership can also empower us to build a reliable online marketplace for businesses and consumers across Indonesia, and to further achieve our mission of democratising commerce through technology.”
