Vodafone, Three, and O2 set to build and share 222 rural masts

The agreement comes as part of the first stage of the Shared Rural Network (SRN) scheme, which was first agreed by all four of the UK's operators last March

Today, UK operators Vodafone, O2, and Three have announced that they have agreed to build and share 222 mobile towers to support 4G coverage in rural areas across the UK. Scotland will be receiving the lion’s share, with around 124 new sites, while Wales will receive 33, Northern Ireland 11, and England 54.  The move comes as the first stage of the £1 billion Shared Rural Network…
