Kosc, the French wholesale-only CaaS provider, has announced the appointment of Paul Le Dantec as Chief Executive Officer.
Aged 44, Paul Le Dantec has an engineering degree at CNAM Paris, a Master 2 at INT and Télécom Lille, and an Executive MBA at HEC Paris. At the heart of the telecoms ecosystem at Orange for more than 20 years, he has successively held the positions of International Mobile Network Bases Synergy Manager (2000-2005), Paris and suburb Mobile phone Radio Network Production Manager (2005-2012), Public Initiative Networks Pre-Sales Technical Director (2012-2017), and lately, Director of National Digital Development within the Orange Group's General Secretariat. On December 1st, 2020, he has joined Kosc as Chief Executive Officer.

He succeeds Antoine Fournier, who left his functions on November 30th. The operator’s board would like to thank Antoine Fournier. Under his leadership, Kosc has not only succeeded in launching its activity as a fiber wholesaler but also in deploying a national network serving more than 50 operator customers, despite major obstacles.

New assets to achieve Kosc’s priority: fiber migration for French-based companies
Steaming competition on the BtoB fiber market, Kosc’s priority remains to contribute largely to the acceleration of fiber migration for French-based companies. Paul Le Dantec shares this technical challenge. His expertise in deployment and strategy of French digital development, as well as his perfect knowledge of the ecosystem will enable Kosc to establish itself as the national BtoB fiber wholesaler around three pillars: the best coverage, a complete range of offers and a differentiating quality.

Although Kosc already relies on an FttH network, the operator is now going to equip itself with a wide-ranging FttO network, with the financial support of Altitude Group, its shareholder since June 2020. Thus, a real race against time is launched by the operator in order to intensify its infrastructure.

"The COVID-19 health crisis has reinforced the urgency of necessary digitalization of French companies. We are convinced that competition in this fiber market will come through infrastructures. This mission of public utility has become the primary focus of Altitude Group's development" explains David Elfassy, Chairman of Altitude Infra.

"I am excited to be joining an ambitious entrepreneurial adventure such as Kosc, which in 5 years has already set solid milestones. Now, with Altitude Infra's resources, Kosc is ready to accelerate its growth. Moving from a historical integrated operator to a dynamic and human-sized structure in this context is particularly inspiring. I am delighted to make my contribution with the Kosc teams, so that each company simply has access to the connectivity solution best suited to its needs. To achieve this, we are relying on a master plan combining the completeness of the infrastructures, the relevance of the product offer and the quality of service", concludes Paul Le Dantec.
