NetIX, the leading global distributed platform for connectivity and peering services has invested in its European footprint by upgrading its Interxion MAD1/MAD2 hardware and improving its network topology to increase network resiliency.
These two network upgrades were meticulously planned and implemented during lockdown with two NetIX members already benefiting from improved connectivity in Madrid and across Europe.
“We always invest where there is demand. During these unnerving times, we saw an opportunity to help our members in Madrid,” said Neven Dilkov, founder of NetIX. He continued, “Providing the best global IP peering solution is NetIX’s priority, and we are proud to have helped so many local telecom operators.”
NetIX has strengthened its network resiliency by adding an additional route connecting into Madrid; the Spanish capital is now connected via two diverse routes further enhancing the NetIX experience.
The NetIX platform brings simplicity to network expansions via a single connection; NetIX is home to 140+ members, 30+ IXPs, and 6,000+ networks across 65 cities and any connected network can benefit by connecting to any peer or location using the same port.
