Comcast Business today announced that Concerted Care Group, a provider of community-based addiction treatment centers in the Baltimore area, relies on Comcast’s Ethernet and voice services to provide its 120 staff members with real-time access to critical information and communication when providing comprehensive, integrated and evidence-based medication-assisted treatment. With three outpatient opioid treatment program locations in Baltimore, Brooklyn and Frederick, Maryland, Concerted Care Group offers housing, food, transportation, addiction counseling, mental health and primary care services to provide a holistic solution to addiction.
“The best care requires a great communications infrastructure, and we’re grateful to partner with Comcast Business as they provide our staff with reliable, scalable, seamless communications services so we can deliver an exceptional patient experience across all our departments and centers,” said Dr. Andrey Ostrovsky, CEO of Concerted Care Group.”
Concerted Care Group has been using Comcast Business services since it opened with each location boasting a 50 Megabits-per-second (Mbps) Ethernet Dedicated Internet connection to manage its electronic health records, productivity tools, medical billing and administrative solutions. The provider also uses the Comcast SIP, an internet-based voice solution providing a wide range of features including call forwarding, so calls don’t go unanswered. Additionally, the provider has Comcast Business Internet and Comcast Business Class TV for center patient areas and Business Class Voice.
“Comcast Business is proud to back Concerted Care Group so their staff can focus on hundreds of patients across various locations knowing they have the communications in place to provide critical access to individual health records and essential information when it is needed,” said Juan Dominguez, vice president of Comcast Business for Comcast’s Beltway Region.
