Britain's broadband speeds 51 per cent slower than advertised

A new report has found that UK consumers are still being shortchanged when it comes to broadband download speeds

A new industry report has revealed that consumers in the UK are receiving broadband speeds that are less than half of the advertised rates.  A study by industry watchdog Which? Revealed that the average broadband speed in the UK is 51 per cent lower than the advertised speed. In the study, Which? found that UK consumers were paying for average speeds of 38Mbps but receiving actual speeds of less than 19Mbps…
