Anite, now part of Keysight Technologies, today announced that Eastlink, a leading telecommunications company in Canada, has selected Nemo Cloud and Nemo Explorer measurement probes for remote, unattended, autonomous measurements of its 4G/LTE network in Canada.
Eastlink will be using the Nemo products to monitor and control remote locations in its network in Canada. Nemo Explorer is used for autonomous, unattended measurement and Nemo Cloud is used to centrally monitor and control the probes out in the field.
“Unattended measurements using Nemo Explorer combined with centralized control using Nemo Cloud gives us the solution needed to centrally manage our measurements in remote locations,” says Martin Andrews, manager, wireless network performance at Eastlink. “We don’t have to send out engineers, again giving us clear OPEX savings in network optimization.”
“I’m excited that Eastlink chose Nemo Cloud for remote control and monitoring and Nemo Explorer for unattended measurements,” says Larry Smith, Regional Sales Director at Anite’s Network Testing Business, now part of Keysight Technologies. “The solution enables Eastlink to ensure the quality of their network over a vast geographical area cost-effectively. Ultimately this is in the benefit of the end-users on the Eastlink network, as they will get the best available bandwidth and service.”
Nemo Cloud is a unique, end-to-end online service that connects various Nemo products into one powerful, industry-leading solution enabling the remote access and control of Anite’s measurement and analytics solutions, as well as efficient data sharing between users.
Nemo Explorer-1 and Nemo Explorer-4 are unattended measurement probes enabling 24/7 remote controlled, unattended measurements, continuous benchmarking and collection of statistics of wireless networks – removing the costs associated with field engineering staff.
