Liquid Voice, a highly respected enterprise call recording and contact centre solution specialist has announced a major feature upgrade to its call recording portfolio which now natively supports supporting Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business.

“The popularity of Skype for Business and Lync as a mission critical communication service is growing, but for many organisations these UC platforms may fall out of the scope of call recording policies due to their use built-in call encryption technology and more decentralized architectures,” explains Andrew Barrett, CTO for Liquid Voice.

“In the past to get around this call recording issue we used a third party bridging application, but this was a less than elegant solution as it meant another layer of integration and potential for incompatibilities with version changes. To solve this problem, our development team has built our own set of modules to provide seamless record capability for Skype for Business with the flexibility to meet the widest set of deployment requirements.”

The upgrade is included for free for Liquid Voice customers with software maintenance contracts and included without additional charge for new customers. Liquid Recording, Liquid Assure and the new Smart Interaction contact centre quality management solutions all benefit from the enhanced call recording features.

The advanced design of the Liquid Voice technology allows a wide range of deployment options to capture calls for all internal, external and federated users. The solution uses secure handling of call encryption keys passed on a protected LAN link to the Liquid Voice call management server to ensure the integrity of every in-bound or outbound call.

“By developing our own technology stack, we can ensure that we are always up to date with the latest version and our customers now have a single solution with a common management interface for recording every type of call irrespective of their use case or deployment scenario,” Barrett concludes.
