Chris Xavier, managing director of independently owned telecoms firm Beehive Telecom and Graham Stoneham of Vista Electrical today announced a new strategic partnership. The partnership will combine Beehive’s expertise in data and communication solutions with Vista’s vast experience in delivering robust electrical infrastructure, to streamline the installation and fit-out process within the hospitality industry.

Together, under Beehive Project Management, they are co-innovating the way in which operators within the hospitality industry approach the installation of their data, communication and electrical infrastructure. There is a common disconnect between the point at which telecommunications and electrical installation are considered, the two are often thought of independently of one another.

Beehive Managing Director Chris Xavier explains, “All too often data and electrical services are considered separate from one another. By taking into consideration both data connectivity and electrical as one product during the fit out not only streamlines installation, and in some cases operation and aesthetics, it also saves the client time and money.”

The UK’s eating and drinking-out market saw a net 1,770 new restaurants open in the past 12 months, up 6.9 per cent on the previous year, according to the new Market Growth Monitor from AlixPartners and CGA Peach. It is this growth that has presented the opportunity for operators to look for a more cohesive approach to the both the fit out and project management.

Launching their new brochure which details the full range of services they provide and the ways in which operators can benefit from a more unified perspective, Beehive is hoping to not only streamline installations but also create a more efficient infrastructure from an operational angle.

Beehive’s current clients to date include Neighbourhood, Almost Famous Burgers, Home Sweet Home and new street food concept B.EAT Street as well as several projects for property developer Allied London.
