AdaptiveMobile, the world leader in mobile network security, today announced advanced SS7 “Cat 3” detection capabilities including Network Memory, Location Plausibility, and Remote Intercept as part of its industry-leading Signalling Protection. Unique to AdaptiveMobile, the Company’s advanced threat detection is based on continuous data and analysis from AdaptiveMobile’s Threat Intelligence Unit, with all rules validated with information from across five continents.

“Customers are selecting AdaptiveMobile’s expertise as the telecoms industry begins to understand the SS7 threat landscape,” said Brian Collins, chief executive officer, AdaptiveMobile. “We remain at the forefront of SS7 Research and this combined with our unique experience of protecting global Tier 1 carrier core networks for over 10 years, means that we are seen as the trusted partner as SS7 security threats continue to evolve and emerge.”

AdaptiveMobile’s Signalling Protection Product secures the SS7 and LTE/Diameter networks using a unique combination of a carrier-grade signalling firewall, advanced analytics and the unique intelligence from working with nine of the top 10 operator groups to protect 1/5th of the world’s mobile subscribers. The solution builds on AdaptiveMobile’s market leading position in the mobile security industry to block current attacks on the network and to react to emerging threats that seek to bypass standard SS7 and Diameter firewall functionality.
