Barclays extends NFC payments service to all UK customers, shuns Android Pay

Contactless Mobile app will now be available to all Barclays UK credit and debt card customers from June.

Barclays is rolling out its own contactless payment service from June that will allow all Barclays customers with an eligible NFC-enabled Android phone to make payments via 400,000 contactless locations in the UK and across the London transport network.
