Criptyque, the secure mobile communications provider, today announced it is doubling the length of unlimited fully encrypted free calls on its Pryvate Lite service to two minutes. It is also extending the free capabilities of Pryvate Lite by adding free instant messaging to the existing free calls service.

The update offers users free fully encrypted unlimited messaging and calls of up to two minutes, following the recent launch of Pryvate, the first all-encompassing and fully encrypted communications platform for mobile devices.

Criptyque is also enhancing the security features of the full Pryvate mobile app, by introducing Presence capabilities, screenshot notifications, and agnostic secure email, with a self-destruct instant messaging feature to be added shortly.

• Presence: Automatic discovery of a user’s contacts that are also on the Pryvate app. Provides auto-notification when contacts become a Pryvate user, then enables users to see when their connected contacts are available for a fully secure call or video call.
• Notifications on screenshots: Detects and informs users when a recipient takes a screenshot of their sent message or picture in the Pryvate app. This can also indicate that the recipient’s mobile device has been stolen or is being used for criminal content.
• Agnostic secure email: Enables secure email to be sent from any platform to any platform, such as Android to iOS and vice versa, and on any email client of the user’s choice, including Exchange.
• Self-destruct on IM: Coming soon, this feature will allow users to stay in control of the content they send by auto-deleting their sent messages and pictures at will. This will ensure the content of an IM chat can be securely deleted from both users’ devices and is irretrievable by anyone.

The latest additions to the Pryvate app are designed to provide everyone with the opportunity to choose whether or not to keep their mobile communications private.

Jonathan Parker-Bray, CEO and Founder of Criptyque, said: “We want to ease concerns that law-abiding citizens may have about using digital communications and give them back their right to privacy in a world that is seemingly dominated by mass data hacking and surveillance.

“The addition of free instant messaging to the Pryvate Lite service and further strengthening of our security features provides users with the confidence that the messages they send to their friends, family and colleagues cannot be intercepted or hacked by cybercriminals. We hope this will help people feel secure in their personal mobile communications at home, at work and while travelling.”

The Pryvate application secures communication services across email, voice calls, conference calls, video calls and instant messenger to protect consumers and businesses from cybercriminals, intruders, corporate espionage, hackers and more. The app provides triple-layered security powered by top-of-the-line 4096-bit encryption, with AES 256-bit key management and DH key exchange.

Pryvate has no access to users’ encryption keys past, present or future: making it impossible to leak, hack, collaborate or give away keys, which makes all communication through Pryvate totally secure and impervious to hacking. It offers truly seamless independent, network agnostic security combined with high quality of service at a low cost.

Available for a free 30-day trial, a full Pryvate subscription costs £4.68 / $5.99 per month or £46.88 / $54.99 a year, while a Pryvate Enterprise subscription costs £9.99 / $13.99 per month. After the 30-day period the app will default to Pryvate Lite, which provides users with:
o Secure Private Voice
o Free inbound and outbound calls limited to two minutes
o Unlimited Private IM/Picture Share
o Anti-Blocking
o Online Support
