Anite, a global leader in wireless network testing technology, today announced that Arca Telecom, a leading professional services supplier in Spain, has chosen Nemo WindCatcher for optimizing Spanish Tier 1 wireless operator networks using network OSS-based subscriber data. Arca Telecom provides network deployment and management services to the main telecom operators in Spain.

Nemo WindCatcher is an analytics solution for mobile networks with multi-vendor and multi-technology support. Nemo WindCatcher provides flexible in-depth analysis, reporting and optimization based on features such as call trace.

“Nemo WindCatcher is a unique product in the marketplace which enables us to offer value-added optimization services to operators. We are now able to optimize networks either using drive test data or call trace data collected directly from mobile networks,” says Luis Sanchez, CEO of Arca Telecom, and continues, “This reinforces the position of Arca in the Spanish market.”

“We are delighted to contribute to Arca Telecom’s success,” says Bruno Poisson, Regional Director at Anite’s Network Testing Business. “Nemo WindCatcher offeres unique geolocation capabilities derived from advanced algorithms. This makes call trace based optimization a very attractive alternative to traditional optimization based on drive tests and offers opportunities for reducing OPEX. Nemo WindCatcher enables our customers to carry out call trace based optimization services in multivendor environments,“ he adds.
