Singtel has earned two wins at the 2015 World Communication Awards (WCA) in London. The awards for Best Enterprise Service and Best Mobile Product were conferred on Singtel for its outstanding Managed Hybrid Network and innovative mobile payments product, Dash.

Best Enterprise Service – Singtel Managed Hybrid Network

Singtel’s Managed Hybrid Network was recognized for allowing businesses to simplify the management of different networks, in a cost-effective and secure manner without sacrificing performance. The service was developed to provide enterprises with greater flexibility to meet business demands for the Internet, cloud, mobility, performance and security.

“We are constantly innovating to provide enterprises with cost-effective, scalable and secure connectivity solutions. Given the growth of cloud computing, the Singtel Managed Hybrid Network solution enables businesses to reduce connectivity costs without compromising performance or security. This award reinforces Singtel’s position as a global managed network service provider,” said Mr Lee Han Kheng, Vice President of Global Products at Singtel Group Enterprise.

Singtel Managed Hybrid Network joins Singtel’s expanding suite of managed connectivity solutions that allows businesses to optimise their increasing bandwidth requirements and the use of collaborative tools such as voice, data and video conferencing on any device in the world. Singtel’s extensive infrastructure allows businesses to use advanced, software-enabled network solutions to easily manage their global networks, putting the control of the networks in the customers’ hands.

Best Mobile Product – Singtel Dash

In the mobile product category, judges were looking for an innovative product that offers great value, usability, new features and quality of service for the consumer market and Singtel’s mobile money service Dash fit the bill.

Described by judges as “a highly flexible mobile payments solution notable for its cross-network availability,” Dash beat other global contenders to take the win.

“We are greatly honoured for Dash to be recognised as the Best Mobile Product. We’ve worked very hard to bring a swift and secure mobile payments solution to our customers. With innovative features such as Pay Business, Pay Friends, Dash Tap and Pay over the largest mobile payment merchant network in Singapore, Dash offers a great mobile money service for digitally savvy trendsetters,” said Singtel’s Vice President of mCommerce, Consumer Singapore, Ms Gan Siok Hoon.

As a fintech solutions provider, Singtel has been working rapidly to grow Dash into a vibrant mobile commerce platform by collaborating with home-grown partners and transport operators. Dash recently partnered with leading online retailer, Lazada.SG as well as NTUC Fairprice, the largest retailer in Singapore.

This is the 10th award for Dash, following its recent win for Best Brand Campaign at the Asia Communications Award.
