Clavister, a leader in high-performance network security, has announced the Clavister E20, a new next-generation firewall appliance designed for use by service providers and for remote/branch office deployments.

The Clavister E20 Next-Generation Firewall appliance delivers up to ten times the speed of its predecessor. With up to 2Gbps firewall performance it outperforms competitors’ offerings in many aspects, especially in terms of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), which Clavister estimates to be 30 – 50% lower than similar products from other vendors.

Key features of the Clavister E20 include:

• Efficient deployment and operations – centralized administration using a unified management console for deployment, operations and reporting

• Futureproof – high performance, scalable licensing and a versatile feature-set

• Cost-effective – Attractive price and an impressive TCO translates into highest possible value for money

"The new Clavister E20 is the fastest, most versatile and scalable Next-Generation Firewall appliance for Branch Offices and Service Providers we have ever produced," said John Vestberg, CTO at Clavister. "Some of the most strategic deals we have done during the past year have been with customers in this segment, including Canon ITS and Regus. Coming into 2016 with this product in our portfolio will enable us to expand our business even further."

The Clavister E20 is available in two different models: the Clavister E20 and the Clavister E20 Pro, differentiated by licensed performance and capacity. The product will be available at the end of December 2015.
