X-on has launched the new 3.1 release for its successful Alert-3 notification service, with the updated service bringing a number of important and enhanced customer-driven features.

Alert-3 is a powerful notification system, designed with ease-of-use, speed of dissemination and depth of feedback as primary considerations. Organisations can contact handfuls of individuals, or groups of thousands of recipients using voice calls, SMS, or email in any combination to ensure messages are received quickly and safely.

Among the new features are Tiered Organisation, allowing administrators to service a number of departments or geographical territories. Custom Fields store relevant information against each individual contact and Automatic Data Imports to increase efficiency.

There is also now the ability to create Ad Hoc Phone Scenarios when there is no Internet access, in addition to a secure cloud accessible Document Library. Alert-3 also now offers additional Language Packs with fourteen different language options to ensure effective communication.
X-on Chief Executive Paul Bensley is positive about the update “We are always in consultation with our clients in order to identify ways of improving our product range.”

“The new Alert-3.1 release positions our emergency call and SMS notification systems at the front of the market and look forward to the thousands of Alert users benefiting from these updates.”

Founded in 2000, X-on is a UK market leader in Cloud Telecoms processing several million SMS and call minutes per month, and boast clients from diverse industries across the UK and beyond, including household brands such as Kelloggs, Bupa and Fujitsu.
