Astellia, leading provider of network and subscriber intelligence for mobile operators, today announced that it will extend the monitoring of Digicel Haiti’s 2G network to its 3G network to support the growth of mobile broadband.

Digicel will ensure seamless data service usage by addressing network mobility, accessibility and throughput issues by troubleshooting the network and resolving any identified anomalies. Digicel will hereto use Astellia’s Nova Explorer for fast and advanced E2E troubleshooting, from RAN to core, in order to uncover problems’ root cause.

“Haitians love their mobile phones, that is why we continue to invest in infrastructure and technology to ensure a distinct customer experience. Astellia helps us diagnose network issues and identify quality-related network trends even before they impact our customers” confirms Juan TORRES, Chief Technology Officer at Digicel Haiti.

“We are very proud of our fruitful partnership with Digicel Haiti, an Astellia customer since 2007. We will continue to help Digicel strengthen their leadership position by understanding and addressing problematic network quality issues in order to offer a consistent experience to their 7 million customers” says Carlos GUIO, Managing Director Americas at Astellia.
