Pursuing the goal of managing telecommunications expenses, MTN Irancell, for the first time in Iran, offers the "Internet Usage Control Service" which enables the automatic deactivation of Internet services upon termination of subscribers' packs (either expired or used up).

According to MTN Irancell Public Relations, subscribers can dial *555*3*2*3# to enjoy the new plan: when their mobile Internet package gets either used up or expired, the out-of-bundle data usage plan will not be automatically activated any more. Accordingly, subscribers' access to Internet is blocked when their packs get expired or used up and therefore they will not pay any extra amount for using the service out of bundle.

Subscribers will be informed of termination of their pack besides the temporary restriction of their Internet access via SMS. In case they wish to continue using data services, they can easily purchase a new package, extend their current pack, or dial *555*3*4# to deactivate the internet usage control service and use Irancell 2G, 3G and/ or 4G data services.
SMS, USSD and "My Irancell" application are three different methods for balance inquiry and getting notification for Irancell mobile Internet packs expiry and end of data allowances.

Consequently, Irancell 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile Internet subscribers will get two SMS notifications at intervals for expiry or end of data allowances. Moreover, postpaid subscribers will be notified through an SMS as soon as their mobile Internet usage starts getting calculated based on "out-of-bundle tariff".

Both postpaid and prepaid subscribers can have real time access to "My Irancell" application in order to check the expiry and balance of their mobile Internet packs. In addition, controlling the account usage and balance, tariff migration, recharging the account, getting and paying the bills, activating packages, recording and reviewing the incidents are among the functions of this application which has been developed for Android, iOS and Java mobile phones.

These subscribers can also dial *555*1*4# to be informed of the remaining balance and expiry date at any time. Prepaid subscribers can get the information on all their Internet package and Combo packs’ remaining balance by dialing *141*10#.

You can visit irancell.ir/internet to get more information on services and required settings for using 2G, 3G and 4G mobile Internet, tariffs and packages for mobile Internet, reviewing mobile phones' 3G and 4G compatibility, coverage areas, and Irancell modems.

At present, Irancell 3G network covers more than 300 cities and villages while its 4G/LTE network has been launched in over 60 cities across the country.
