Indigo, Belcom247 extend European network support, maintenance services

Indigo Telecom Group Ltd and Belcom247 Ltd have announced that they have formed a European-wide partnership to further enhance the wide range of network support services currently offered by both organisations.

The partnership will see the two businesses work together to provide on-site and field based engineering support to network operators and providers across Europe.

The deal will take Indigo’s expertise and reach in providing remote technical support, managed through its NOCs (network operating centres) and Belcom247’s heritage in providing dedicated on-site engineering in larger sites.

The organisations began working together in early 2015 and this announcement formalises their intent to develop better and faster support and maintenance services for customers by taking advantage of the wider resource pool available to both organisations. The combined resourcing capability will also enable Indigo and Belcom247 to deal with spikes in demand and provide a wider range of technical expertise to customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Pat O’Keeffe, Indigo EMEA Services Director stated: “Belcom247 compliments Indigo’s current delivery model; this arrangement delivers a number of operational efficiencies to both organisations as well as the opportunity to provide a wider range of services to our combined client base. This partnership comes at a key point in time for Indigo as we renew our focus on delivering multi-year managed service solutions to global network operators.

“Our customers are under pressure to deliver high levels of availability and speed as well as fast resolution if an outage occurs. This means that engineering support needs to be on hand with the expertise to quickly identify and rectify any issues. The combination of permanent on-site support and an extensive field-based engineering team brings the support that today’s network operators require.”
