NBN Co launches FTTB network after TPG's return to market

Australian operator rolling out fibre-to-the-building to 6,000 homes and businesses; news comes after AusBBS declares itself first to launch retail service on rival infrastructure.

Australia's NBN Co on Tuesday announced the commercial launch of its fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) offering, although as it stands the technology is only available to a small number of premises.
