Leading online authentication provider CertiVox today announced a partnership with Trustonic, the leading provider of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). The collaboration will see CertiVox integrate its M-Pin authentication platform with Trustonic’s TEE, ensuring hundreds of millions of consumers have the highest level of security embedded in the apps they use to carry out everyday tasks.

Trustonic provides the security foundation for over 350m smart devices worldwide, including Samsung, HTC, ZTE and Meizu smartphones. CertiVox’s M-Pin Authentication Server meanwhile, acts as a ‘drop-in’ replacement for password authentication, suitable for any online platform or service and eliminating the threat of password database breaches. This collaboration, which is effective from today, will enable the next generation of mobile applications to be protected at the highest level.
