Gigaclear raises £6.5m in UK rural fibre push

Gigaclear, a UK-based provider of fibre-to-the-premises networks in rural communities, said it has raised £6.5 million in new funds from a new round of equity financing to help drive the deployment of broadband networks with speeds of up to 1 Gbps. The company said the additional investment would allow it to further expand its footprint to thousands of customers in rural areas…
