Orga Systems, a leading software vendor for real-time charging and billing solutions, with an international customer base in the telecommunications, utilities and automotive markets, today announces that it has deployed its billing and service order management solution for in-vehicle apps and services at BMW Group. The premium car manufacturer is using Orga Systems’ order-to-cash solution, comprising its GOLD Billing and Care product, for BMW ConnectedDrive.

Personalization of the customer experience
Key success factor for the digital services is a seamless and positive driver experience to select, activate and pay for new in-car features. Orga Systems’ software solution manages the lifecycle of in-vehicle services, orders, customer data and billing accounts as part of BMW ConnectedDrive’s IT backend. Depending on the brand, the car model and the available on-board head unit, the solution ensures that all services and apps are provided according to compatibility policies.

Country-specific configurations
Orga Systems’ billing and service order management solution is deployed and managed on one single instance located in Germany. It supports BMW ConnectedDrive on a global scale while the software solution is deployed as one single instance. Additional country configurations support localization for multiple language, taxation and currency requirements.
