Apple iOS outgunned Android in U.S. smartphone market in Q4 2014

Apple iOS exceeded Android in terms of U.S. market share for the first time since 2012, says Kantar.

Apple overtook Android in the U.S. smartphone OS market during the fourth quarter of 2014, although by a very slim margin of 0.1%. According to smartphone sales data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech for the last three months of 2014, this is the first time that Apple iOS has exceeded Android in terms of U.S. market share since the same period in 2012…
