EE's 4G customer base hits 5.6m

U.K. telco adds 1.4 million 4G customers in Q3 but turnover, mobile service revenue continue to slide.

EE on Wednesday said its 4G customer base reached 5.6 million at the end of the third quarter, claiming that makes it the largest 4G operator in Europe. The U.K. telco, owned by Orange and Deutsche Telekom, said it added 1.4 million 4G customers during the three months ended 30 September and is on track to significantly exceed its target of 6 million 4G subscribers by the end of the year…
