Anam Technologies, a mobile messaging software solutions provider for mobile operators, has today announced they are providing Olson, a mobile aggregator and one of the top three digital agency networks in North America, with its highly-scalable MMX Messaging Gateway. Anam’s solution will be deployed in Olson’s virtual private cloud and will provide the aggregator with the latest state-of-the-art virtualised technology to deliver SMS campaigns to their enterprise customers and carrier subscribers on behalf of mobile operators.

Olson, who operate in the North American and Canadian markets and have processed just under two billion SMS messages in the past decade, were one of the first companies in North America to be given access to multiple carrier networks and were the first to launch SMS short-code programs. As the company sought to move onto a virtual private cloud infrastructure, they needed to upgrade their current messaging gateway to facilitate the development of new services and ensure it was scalable to support its long-term growth strategy.

Amongst the key criteria for Olson also included the need for it to be flexible to ensure the simplicity of bringing new carriers onto the platform and ease of management. Simultaneously, the solution also needed to be secure and meet with local regulatory requirements on the use of messaging communications.

Anam’s MMX messaging gateway solution is highly configurable, and designed to manage high-volume delivery without compromising on quality and service. It will also provide additional services to Olson including delivery receipts and anti-spam protection.

Sukhmani Dev, VP Product & Technical Operations at Olson commented: “Being at the forefront of technical innovation and the latest strategies to enable our customers to meet their goals is what we strive for on a daily basis. As we look to grow our business and offer additional services, we needed to look for a new messaging gateway that was able to support and facilitate our aims but provide the technical excellence and support that we, and our customers, come to expect. With Anam we found that partner. Working alongside them to implement the new platform we know we have a future-proof solution that will enable us to continue to remove the barriers for our customers in delivering engaging mobile campaigns and strategies.”

Louise O’Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of Anam Technologies added: “Olson have been setting the precedent in the aggregator and digital communications industry for a number of years and as they take that leap into the virtualised environment we have been delighted to work alongside them and provide a solution that meets their requirements. The SMS messaging environment is still growing at a fast pace, with Application-to-Person messaging show no signs of let-up, so it is vital that organisations such as Olson continue to look at how they can develop their enterprise propositions whilst still maintaining the highest level of reliability and flexibility to dynamically move with the market changes. We are at a time when it has never been easier to directly communicate with your target audiences through carrier networks and we look forward to supporting Olson through this process.”
