Imago ScanSource, Europe’s largest video solutions company, has formed an agreement in the UK to distribute solutions from hosted telephony specialist, RingCentral, one of the US’s fastest growing disruptive telecoms service providers.

RingCentral’s solutions, which were selected by BT Business earlier this year to launch a new generation of cloud business phone systems in the UK, provide organisations with a simple way to migrate their telephony services into the cloud. They deliver enterprise-class voice, fax, text, call handling, mobile apps and a BYOD capability, and will seamlessly integrate with programmes including Salesforce®, Box, Dropbox™, Google Drive, and Microsoft Outlook®.

One of the main advantages is that businesses have none of the capital outlay associated with traditional phone systems, so they can expect to instantly save up to 60% on monthly phone costs. In addition, set up is very quick on a wide range of devices from legacy handsets through to smartphones and tablets and the system will adapt itself to the requirements of individual businesses regardless of size.

RingCentral announced revenue increases of 40% year-on-year in the summer, and has had a significant effect on the rapid growth of the cloud telephony sector. It’s extensive range will dovetail neatly with Imago ScanSource’s existing products, in particular the Polycom VoIP phones, which will be available complete with the RingCentral system already loaded and just requiring access to an Internet connection.
