Ofcom eyes commercial white spaces services in 2015

Google, London Zoo among latest players to launch commercial trials.

Ofcom on Friday provided an update on the progress it is making on white spaces technology and said the U.K. could see its first commercial services rolled out in 2015. That would make the U.K. the first country in Europe to deploy services running on pockets of unused frequencies sat in bands reserved for broadcast TV signals…
