We are running out of companies to link with Vodafone

Some rumours are consistent with the direction being taken by the telco industry; others are about as welcome as an unsolicited U2 album.

Whenever there is the merest hint that a telco merger might be in the offing, one name routinely crops up. Vodafone has the dubious honour of simultaneously being a formidable fish on the hunt for smaller prey and top of the menu for something bigger lurking in the depths.
