Bharti sells more towers in Africa

Indian operator brokers deal with Eaton Towers for 3,500 towers in six markets; Nigeria deal reportedly to follow.

Bharti Airtel has agreed to sell a further 3,500 telecoms towers in Africa to specialist company Eaton Towers. The deal marks the Indian telco's second African towers sale in as many months as it seeks to reduce costs through passive infrastructure sharing.
