Syniverse today announced a new multi-year agreement with Myriad Group to enable the authentication of global end users of the Myriad msngr app via Syniverse’s Mobile Enterprise Services. Myriad msngr has seen a steady rise in traffic, including a recent increase to 67 million registered users with significant peaks in Latin America.

As one of the region’s largest mobile messenger services, the agreement with Syniverse includes direct connectivity to numerous top-tier Latin American mobile network operators that enable increased speeds and stability for Myriad’s app subscribers.

When an end user registers with Myriad msngr over a mobile phone, Syniverse’s highly reliable platform will deliver a one-time verification code via SMS. The one-time code is delivered directly to the end user with low processing latency, subsequently allowing the user to complete the registration and activate the app.

An integral piece of the app registration process requires Myriad’s subscribers to receive SMS messages. Reliability is of critical importance. Syniverse has built a reputation for consistently delivering more than 700 billion messages annually in real time. By personalizing the user experience in the mobile moment, Syniverse’s services result in deepened customer touch points that increase brand affinity and revenue while promoting and protecting brands.
