Sprint drops T-Mobile US bid, will replace CEO

Hesse reportedly on his way out as regulatory concerns stifle Softbank's effort to consolidate U.S. mobile market.

Sprint has ended acquisition talks with T-Mobile US and will replace CEO Dan Hesse. As yet there have been no public disclosures from either operator, or from Sprint parent Softbank, but sources cited by several newswires on Wednesday said that the merger is off because of stiff resistance from regulators…
