U.K. satellite TV company announces acquisition of Sky Italia and Sky Deutschland; publishes full-year results

BSkyB on Friday announced that it has agreed to buy all of Sky Italia and 57.4% of Sky Deutschland for close to £5 billion to create a European pay TV business with around 20 million customers. The U.K.-based operator will acquire the businesses from shareholder 21st Century Fox.
