India issues spectrum sharing guidelines

India's telcos could soon be able to pool their frequency resources after the TRAI on Monday issued guidelines on spectrum sharing. The rules being proposed would see operators given permission to share spectrum provided their respective airwaves are in the same frequency band and cover the same telecom service area…
