EE LTE sales overtake 3G

U.K. mobile operator unveils in-car 4G WiFi router, affordable 4G tablet.

EE said on Wednesday it has reached a tipping point after sales of LTE contracts overtook 3G contract sales for the first time. The U.K. mobile operator said its 4G customer base has grown to 3.6 million, compared to 2.9 million at the end of the first quarter, and that data usage on its 4G network has increased by 66% over the last 12 months…
