Nokia, Microsoft delay closure of deal

Finnish vendor waiting for approvals from Asian regulators, expects to close sale of handsets business in April.

Microsoft's planned €5.44 billion acquisition of Nokia's mobile phones business will not close this quarter after all, it emerged on Monday. The companies have pushed back the completion date to April, since Asian authorities are still examining its implications, Nokia announced. The delay has nothing to do with its ongoing tax issues in India…
