Colao optimistic despite European drag on Voda's Q4 numbers

U.K. mobile giant confident 4G will help turn the tide, but says MVNOs will not get a free ride.

Vodafone saw service revenues fall in the fourth quarter of last year, once again on the back of weakness in Europe, but top executives at the company are hopeful of a turnaround in the near future. At group level organic service revenues fell by 4.8% on-year to €9.86 billion in the three months to 31 December. Europe contributed €6.52 billion, down 9.6% on the previous year on an organic basis…
