Lenovo overtakes H-P as global PC shipments continue slide

IDC says enterprise spending in 2013 failed to offset weakness in consumer market.

Global PC shipments in 2013 were 314.6 million, down 10% from 349.4 million in 2012, according to preliminary figures published by IDC late Thursday, as consumers again showed they prefer smartphones and tablets to desktop computers…
