baramundi software AG, a specialist in client and server management, has today announced Meridian IT Limited, an international provider of IT and business technology solutions, will be certified as a baramundi Solution Seller. Offering professional IT services based on baramundi’s solutions, Meridian will provide its clients with consultancy and testing of IT products before purchase, user support and guidance during implementation, as well as continued support once the product has been introduced.
baramundi announced its market entry into the UK in May, and is rapidly expanding its network of certified and trained partner companies to better support customers locally. As a certified baramundi Solution Seller, Meridian is guaranteed to have experienced employees trained to use baramundi software and can act as a professional contact for customers. At present, Meridian has over 600 customers, consisting of mainly large and medium-sized companies, all with complex infrastructures, operating in manufacturing, sales, finance, health and retail.

Meridian has already successfully introduced the baramundi Management Suite to several UK customers. These include a manufacturer of scientific instruments, which has substantially reduced the cost of providing applications, installing operating systems, software inventory management, and providing fixes and patches in a number of European countries. This was achieved using solely baramundi solutions, therefore simplifying the process for the customer and eliminating the need for involvement from other services providers. The baramundi Management Suite was also successfully implemented by a domestic appliance manufacturer, which used the solution to help reduce the load on its IT team when performing routine jobs.
