DIGITALK, a trusted vendor of Carrier, Consumer and Mobile solutions to retail and wholesale communications service providers worldwide, reported today that ten new wholesale voice service providers have adopted the DIGITALK Carrier Cloud since the beginning of June, including IXA Global, Telcom in Ireland, Galaxtel, Viacloud, and Latin Talk in the USA. In combination with existing customer expansion, this represents significant recent growth in the DIGITALK Carrier Cloud.

A series of ten service providers have recently joined the DIGITALK Carrier Cloud, most migrating from different combinations of on premises solutions. These include IXA Global, Telcom in Ireland, Galaxtel and Viacloud. These companies gain the significant advantage of a fully integrated service with unlimited expansion capacity. In addition, some customers have adopted both Carrier and Consumer Cloud solutions to support their wholesale and retail services, such as Latin Talk in the USA.

DIGITALK Carrier Cloud allows wholesale voice service providers to use the agility and scalability of cloud to drive ROI and efficiency in their voice businesses. With no limits on capacity and a pay-per-use model, DIGITALK Carrier Cloud is built to support risk-free growth with a low capex and an operational model that meets the needs of rapidly growing voice businesses.

“Voice service providers are adopting DIGITALK Carrier Cloud because it is a single end-to-end solution that offers them a streamlined and scalable way to operate their wholesale services. The cloud is the future of the voice market and that is evident from the growth in adoption we’ve seen over the last three months,” says Oliver Roberts, Product Manager at DIGITALK. “Wholesale voice service providers see the value of cloud to make their businesses more robust and ready for growth.”

DIGITALK customers around the world use Carrier Cloud to arrange their own carrier agreements, set-up interconnects, determine rates, and configure routing plans, on demand and in real-time. Its network capabilities include flexible signalling interworking, SIP session high availability, and dynamic media transcoding.

“Existing customers with on-premises platforms have seen that DIGITALK Carrier Cloud is robust and trustworthy, and have migrated to the cloud. New customers have been impressed by the simplicity of a single solution as well as the feature set that we offer in the cloud," says Roberts. “Each customer can manage and provision voice services and have confidence in the cloud to deliver ROI and margin growth.”
