Russian telcos angered by threat of LTE spectrum seizure

Telcos, analysts warn Russia's new plan to create a single LTE infrastructure will damage investment climate, force down margins.

Russia's mobile operators could lose the LTE spectrum allocated to them a year ago if the government goes ahead with a controversial plan to create a single, state-owned LTE network in the country, a plan that many warn could seriously damage the investment climate in Russia's telecoms market.
