EU to cut data roaming charges by 36% from 1 July

Data roaming price caps will be reduced to 45 cents per MB on Monday.

As of 1 July, the price of data roaming across the European Union will fall by 36% under new rules introduced by the European Commission. According to a statement on the Commission’s web site, and as has been previously announced, the new prices for downloading data or browsing the Internet will be 45 cents for 1 megabyte of data, down by 36 per cent compared to 2012…
