Tier one mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) Sisteer (www.sisteer.com) today announces that it has signed a full MVNO agreement with telecommunications company VIVO to operate as a MVNO authorized (MVNO Autorizada) in Brazil under Vivo’s network.

The groundbreaking development is a 5 years cooperation agreement and spans the mobile market at the nationwide level.

Sisteer first obtained its license to operate as an MVNO Autorizada in Brazil in March 2012 and now aims to launch its first MVNO operation in early 2014.

Sisteer will be the sole firm to combine its core business as an MVNE/A in Brazil and B2C operations.

Sisteer announce this partnership today at the MVNO Summit Latam in Sao Paulo on 4th and 5th June 2013.

Brazil's mobile market is the sixth largest in the world and is home to more than one third of all mobile users in Latin America and the Caribbean. By January 2013, the market was composed of plus 261 million subscribers, more than 80% being pre-paid accounts.

“This groundbreaking agreement with Vivo enables us to bring all the compelling expertise, products and services of the Sisteer Group to Brazil,” says Alain Bureau, CEO, Sisteer Group. “We believe we are singularly placed to bring significant added value to mobile users across Brazil.”
