AT&T climbs global brand ranking, BT joins top 100

European telecoms operators see brand values slip as economy bites, according to new BrandZ study; Samsung mounts strong challenge.

AT&T remains the world's most valuable telco brand and has improved its position over the past year, according to a new global brand ranking. However, European telecoms brands did not fare so well, with the exception of BT, which joined the BrandZ top 100 ranking for the first time.
